Part I : Dr. Robert Olsen

Spokane Wired Take-Away from the Wireless & 5G Forum:

As was made abundantly clear by our first speaker, Dr. Robert Olsen, the FCC and the ICNIRP do not acknowledge that public exposure to non-ionizing radiation (like that from WiFi, cell phones, cell towers, smart meters, smart t.v., electromagnetic fields etc.), under the current exposure standards set by the FCC, affects biology in any way that would be considered a health hazard. Dr. Robert Olsen's specialization is Electrical Engineering, and naturally, since he is not a Biochemical or Medical Scientist, did not come prepared with cited scientific evidence that the ICNIRP and FCC use to maintain their positions on public safety. He has however provided the following for us from ICNIRP. Conversely, Dr. Martin Pall, our second speaker, whose specialties are Biochemistry and Basic Medical Sciences, presented clear cited evidence that non-ionizing radiation does indeed have non-thermal effects that negatively affect biology. Dr. Pall cited multiple studies to substantiate this claim and, in his view, proved that the current FCC safety standards are irrelevant in light of the scientific evidence of the mechanisms through which Wireless Radiation affects biology. All of the cited evidence can be found in Dr. Pall's Presentation Slides which he has provided to Spokane Wired to share with the public.

At Spokane Wired, we are alarmed that our regulatory agencies are allowing the public to be exposed to an increase of this radiation which is not proven safe. Furthermore, we are alarmed that the FCC and ICNIRP refuse to acknowledge recent scientific evidence such as that discovered in the 30 million dollar, tax payer funded, National Toxicology Report which found clear evidence of a cancer link with cell phone radiation. In light of their refusal to adjust their regulations accordingly, it is clear that these agencies cannot be trusted to work for the public whom they are hired to serve.

We recognize that since our regulatory bodies are not working to ensure that the public is safe, we, as citizens, must work together at the local level to protect ourselves and our communities from increased exposure to EMF and Wireless Radiation. We encourage our City Council to take this issue to heart, do their own study of the scientific evidence, as we have, and discover for themselves the dire need that we act locally to protect our communities.

The time to act is Now!

May all concerned citizens rise up and join in!

Concerned citizens are speaking out!

Join in the worldwide movement to halt small cell 5G towers. Call your Representatives today. Speak with your neighbors. Tell your friends. This technology has never been proven safe and we do not consent to being experimented on.

Many small actions make big change

Never underestimate the power that one phone call or one conversation can have to change the trajectory of the future.

Make a Ripple

As individuals we cannot do it all alone. It is our passion for an issue that will inform us what it is that we are MEANT to DO. Find your passion, and invest your time and efforts in whatever is tugging at you.

Our efforts together will create the brighter world we envision.

vision + effort = wisdom

Take Action

EHT Takes Historic Legal Action Against the FCC

Appeal filed after the FCC refuses to update their 24 year old wireless radiation limits.

Washington, DC – A group of scientists, consumer health nonprofits, and citizens filed a historic legal action against the FCC for its refusal to update its 24-year-old cell phone and wireless radiofrequency (RF) radiation guidelines. EHT's legal petition contends the FCC's December action is "arbitrary, capricious, an abuse of discretion" and "not in accordance with the law" as the FCC has violated the Administrative Procedure Act and the National Environmental Policy Act by failing to adequately review the hundreds of relevant scientific submissions finding harmful effects from wireless technologies. The FCC's December action gives the green light to the rollout of 5G technology and small cell densification in the USA.

"The FCC decision flies in the face of mounting scientific evidence demonstrating harm from RF radiation and runs counter to the science-based decisions of other governments that have devoted major resources to evaluating new evidence on the issue and have taken steps to curtail exposures as a result of their findings," stated Devra Davis, PhD, MPH continue reading...

Health concerns bring #5G to a standstill in #Switzerland

5G requires beam-forming technology, where a focused radiation is directed to and from a device. This has never been evaluated in the real world. Supporting this moratorium are the voices of more than 250 medical experts and the Swiss Medical Association who have called for more research to be carried out on the potential impacts of the technology on human health. In the states, the Natural Resources Defense Council and Environmental Health Trust successfully argued in federal court that before 5G can be deployed, its impact on the environment must be fully assessed.

Adding further support to these concerns, no major secondary insurer will cover health damages from 5G, classified as "high risk" a technology which insurance authority Swiss Re has depicted as "off the leash," comparable to those of asbestos. Recently courts have held governments and telecom companies liable for health damages in Italy. Over 150 cities in Italy have passed resolutions to halt 5G until safety is assured, joining an ever-growing number of cities and towns across Europe where thousands are protesting. Cities in the US have passed ordinances to restrict antenna installations near homes in neighborhoods.

Cities such as Kalamata Greece are reversing course and terminating relationships with telecommunications companies, no longer interested in being a 5G pilot city. Efforts are also underway in U.S. and European courts to force companies to produce safer phones. The Swiss are also considering strict liability standards for all manufacturers and providers of the technology. However the United States is full steam ahead. Switzerland is the clear model for the rest of the world and this reminds us of what Ben Franklin said: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." continue to full article...
